A non-bagging adventure :)

While you busy-bodies were bagging peaks on the coast, two other fat-assers were exploring new trails in the Interior during a week off in September.

If anyone ever gets a chance to visit Glacier National Park near Roger's Pass, BC, you gotta do the Glacier Crest Trail! We had an amazingly beautiful day and the views were spectacular (see above).

I think I have Bagger's Fever.  The symptoms have been particularly acute this past week:

Demi de Jussy feedback

Salut to everyone!

Here is a little feedback of my 10km run of last sunday!

After a pretty short night (got sick and my stomach didn't want to keep all the nice food I had for supper) I decided to run that race. It's a nice and soft one passing through forest in the countryside of Geneva. Last year they did it by night and they should do it for next year.

So I finally finish it, feeling not so bad, in 56mn and 64th on 189 women.

My 1st 50 miler - thanks for the inspiration Club Fat Ass friends!!!

Harebrained Running Adventures - My Walk in the Park

One of my favorite hidden gem trail races is the Walk in the Park (WITP) in Kamloops, BC.  I ran it this past weekend under unusual circumstances and figured I'd share the story before my dirty running gear goes through the wash.

Musings on Ultrarunning

I ran my first ultramarathon run (a run longer than the 42.2K marathon distance) in late November 1990.

The Bagger's Essential Companion

Background

A few weeks ago while running the STORMY 50-miler, I got to chatting with my pals Rick and Ken to pass the time.  The Bagger Challenge and our experiences to date were top of mind.

Club Fat Ass Events - Juan De Fuca Marine Trail Run Starter Photo

Once again a brave group of adventurers strapped up their hydration packs, took one, possibly, final look at their vehicles and punched the start of their chrono's and headed into the deep dark woods of the west coast rainforest.

The start was delayed by about 30 minutes as Jeff, our play leader, made arrangements as to who was doing what with which cars at which end!
