We made it back safely from the Mainland after a glorious day of running.
The race was won by Gary Robbins in an incredible time of 4:13:xx
He was so far ahead of us all that it was as if he was in another race from the rest of us.
Matthias Schoeck , the new Harrier did great with a time of 5:22:xx giving him an 11th. place O/A he will be running the E/B 50K on May 2nd..
Mike Suminski and his group came over in force with a large group of runners.
He was telling me they were over a dozen at Earls the night before.
I had a quiet night after my Fish and Chips at the Pantry, then spent the whole night staring at the ceiling of my hotel room, waiting for our 6 a.m. departure for the race, from the PoCo Inn and Suites.
We were all done by 3 p.m. and on the 5 o'clock ferry back to Victoria.The movie has been edited down to about 5 minutes and is being processed by the guys at Youtube.
It is a raw movie, no music this time as the dialogue is kind of amusing...
