Hey all, two things I wanted to quickly mention, well outside of the fact that there is a ton of snow up there right now and it could be an incredible day for snowshoeing this weekend!
-The cutoff for snowshoe rental requests is tomorrow, Thurs the 7th at 6pm. I have to pass along our final numbers to The Yeti at that point in time.
-I was ski touring up their yesterday morning and noticed that the chimney pipe at the Red Heather lodge is no longer there! There was a note saying that it would be fixed as soon as possible, but did not give an exact time frame. Having said that, I can not guarantee that you will have a nice cozy fire to cuddle up around on Sunday morning. I've got my fingers crossed, but if you intend to stop at The Red Heather Hut I would suggest bringing an extra layer to change into. You will still be completely sheltered and can think about snuggling up to the person with the biggest puffy coat!!
