Transrockies Running

Well, I'm got down to Colorado on Monday and was picked up by my running partner Phil Villenueve and our massage therapist Chris Maynard. Phill called me about 4 weeks ago and said "hey, I'm Phil from Canmore, I hear you are ok at ultras, I have a free entry into Transrockies, want to come and race as my partner?" I said yes. But before that, I kind took time off, had a few too many late nights, was going to NYC to see two Dj's and stay up till sunrise. So not optimal training. So I rushed some hill repeats in, did Stormy 50 miler and I'm here now. Phil is a national x-cross country skier from Canmore and all around fast guy. He won the Powderface Trail Marathon this summer with a CR. So, now we are here at 9000-11000 feet getting acclimatised. We've done a one hour run, 1:45:00 run and 2:15:00 today. Starting to feel a bit better. The race starts on Sunday and some real fast ultra guys have entered the last few days so it will be fun! check out www.transrockies.com I'll update daily if I can.
