Club Fat Ass is a grassroots sports club with a worldwide vision. Our members host trail running, triathlon, cycling and other "active lifestyle" events for fellow members. Club events are fun, physically challenging, environmentally friendly and emphasize camaraderie as much as competition. Each event is a reflection of the unique personality of the Event Host. All Club events are free to Club members. Membership is open to anyone who enjoys playing outdoors. Join us!

A great finish line aidstation thanks to new members Karine Lavoie and Steven Lamothe. Steven had to bail out last minute because his babysitter found something better to do. He spent the money saved for the sitter on goodies for the runners

Just a few more days until the second running of "Bill's Great Peak Ascent".  As with last year, it looks like we're going to have another beautiful day for running.

Squamish Scrambler

Member Gary Robbins just came forward as newest Event Host for Club Fat Ass.  He will be hosting the Squamish Scrambler in September.  The event promises to be a fun event with a mix of running, biking and some interesting games to keep things interesting..

Details will be up on the website as soon as I am back from Germany in mid July.

Pub Night - Help Send Wendy Montgomery to the 100 km World Championships in Japan

Pub Night - Tuesday 7 June - $10

Includes:

* an organized run interval workout
* a cool beer
* a raffle for draw prizes
* maybe a 50/50 draw
* great camaraderie and the opportunity to help a deserving athlete
