Kick-off the holiday season with a celebration of another great year of outdoor adventures with Club Fat Ass!
What: A special gala evening where we'll share the outdoor adventures we've enjoyed during 2010 with photos and video.
- 7:00 - Mix and mingle. Catch up with your running pals. Meet some new ones. Share some laughs. Cook-up some plans. See yourself in action. There will be a slideshow running with photos from the many Club Fat Ass events and activities during 2010.
- 7:45 - Movie time. Sit back and enjoy the first annual Fat Ass Film Festival of Outdoor Adventures with an exclusive screening of videos from CFA runs and peak bagging expeditions throughout the year. Who knows... you might be a movie star? Cat-calling and throwing of insults allowed, although we ask that you not hurl peanuts or popcorn unless you plan to stick around and help with the cleanup.
- 9:00 - Awards. Vote on who wins the coveted Porkie award. Interview the producers, the directors and the stars.
- 9:15 - Still want to party? Willing to risk running the gauntlet of paparazzi and groupies? Reconvene with the movie stars next door at the Taylors Crossing Pub and maybe score an autograph or two.
Who: Current and former Club Fat Ass members, members-to-be, Event Hosts, friends, family and paparazzi.
Cost: Free... of course.
Registration: There will be a place to park your bum or stand and light munchies for the first 50 to RSVP. Watch from outside in the rain and bring your own popcorn thereafter. Fire regulations mean we can only accommodate 50, so be sure to sign-up soon...
