I added our's, too.  A shame

I added our's, too.  A shame that our camera died half way through the evening.  Here is a slideshow of all Bagger Challenge 2012 photos submitted (including banquet photos).  What a hoot. Thanks David for hosting and organizing!

Bagger Challenge 2012 (Team Dodgy version)

We dream and reflect as the Bagger season ends
It was fun while it lasted
With our Dodgy friends

Up to high peaks and down to deep valleys
Many hours were spent
Wandering 'round having follies

I've heard it said that loamy is good
But trails that are dusty
Can be like slipp'ry wood

Tho' sunshine made Bagging so nice for so long
Tis time to beware
Snow and ice make it wrong

To plan and to scheme was the motto it seemed
Princess Carolyn topped out
And on CAP she sure beamed

The vet Neil we did follow as we watched him wear mittens
And then one day not
As he played "where's that Dickens"

And Demigod Dave he was such a hoot
His instincts were awesome
On North Needle ... and the newest CAT route

One Dodgy girl Liza was with us to play
But she had enough
We could not make her stay

And last but not least, Moore is happy to say
"The Gully is dead to us"
Hip, hip hooray!

So The Challenge is done for the 2012 year
Team Dodgy shall return
And we'll have no fear!

Mama, Don't Let Your Babies Grow-up to be Baggers

Sung to the tune of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKv171MzvSc    (I was going to record this, but consider yourself fortunate I did not.)

Mama, don't let your babies grow up to be Baggers.
Don't let 'em do trail runs or climb high mountain peaks.
Make 'em be doctors and lawyers and such.
Mama don't let your babies grow up to be Baggers.
'They'll never stay home and they're often alone.
Even if they promise they’re not.

Baggers ain't easy to love and they're harder to hold.
They'd rather give you a trail report than diamonds or gold.
100-mile belt buckles and old faded t-shirts,
And each night begins a new day.
and If you don't understand them, an' they don't die young,
They'll prob'ly just run away.

Baggers like stinky old trail shoes and clear mountain mornings,
Pine needles in their hair and duct tape on their shins.
and them that don't know them won't understand them and them that do,
Sometimes won't know how to take them.
They ain't wrong, they's just different and the Quaich that motivates them,
Makes them do things someone normal wouldn’t do.
