Bean around the world (Parkgate Mall) / Mt. Seymour
Join me for a Snowshoe hike/run.
Meet at 7:30am at the Bean around the World at Parkgate Mall at the base of Mount Seymour. Drive up the hill to start the hike/run at around 8am. I was thinking about going up Dog Mountain and then turn of at First Lake on the way down to join the Mount Seymour trail and then head back down to the Parking lot area. If you are feeling fast and furious you can head up the Mount Seymour trail a bit further before turning around or do the loop twice. Another option is to start from the lookout area and head up the perimeter trail if we decide to do so. I have one extra pair of snowshoes. Let me know if you need it or indicate in a comment below if you would like to join and you also have an additional pair to lend to somebody.
In case the weather is too warm and it is raining up on the Mountain I would opt for a run starting at Bean around the World at 7:30am instead.

Just Andy and I this morning
I guess Fat Asses like to sleep in on a Sunday.
What a nice day it was up on the mountain though.
Not a lot of people on the way up, plenty on the way down. So I'd rather start even earlier next time. Then again we got down late enough to enter the draw for the avalanche awareness campaign that was being staged. Good luck to us.
We made it to first peak and went past first lake on the way down.
