Not sure yet...

Ean and myself would like to come out for a shorter one as well, but we have family arriving Friday night from ON.  Not sure yet, what our schedule will be, but hopefully we can sneak away for 2h or so.

Why Not?

I'll run, but I will probably quit after about 35-40 km since I have a marathon coming up.  Tim

anyone interested in a shorter run?

Is anyone is up for 30 km or so, at about an 8:30 pace -- we could meet the others at the start and make it up from there.  We would probably finish at about the same time as the superhuman elite speedsters complete their 50 km.

Mobile Aid Station

My lovely wife, Lucinda volunteered her services. She could meet us at the following spots;

1. Parking lot as you get in Kits Beach
2. Parking lot just when you cross over from Jericho Beach to the trails of Endowment Land
3. Turnaround point at Marine Drive

Of course she will be at spot 1 and 2 on the return, keeping in mind the limitations of a mobile unit to accomodate the penguins and the gazelles. I'm a penguin myself and since BC Family Law oblige her to serve me before leaving for the next meeting point it looks like the gazelles might be out of luck, specially toward the end.

So feel free to take adavantage of her services and throw in the car anything you might want during the run.

 That's great!  Thank you Lucinda!

Anybody With a GPS Interested in Doing 25K?

Geoff,

Great idea!  I'd love to join you.  May be for less than 50K cause my Dad's only in town for a couple of days, though.  I have a special key to the washrooms/showers in Brockton Oval that I will try to find and get to you.  'You going to suggest a dip in the briny deep, too?

I've measured this course umpteen times with a bike and a Nike Triax, but never done so with a GPS.  It would be good to get feedback on my course splits.

I'm in.

Thanks for organizing it.
