New Running Camp - includes video taping each runner

I wanted to let you know about a new Core Running Camp that I'll be holding on Nov. 20 & 27 in North Vancouver. This two-day camp will include video taping each runner on a treadmill to highlight common running errors. Watching yourself and other runners is a great way to learn how to run better.

After the video taping, I'll teach you mobilization drills to improve functional flexibility in your legs, hips and ankles.

You'll also learn my innovative running drills which we'll practice on the trails near the gym.

The camp will be held on two consecutive Saturdays from 12 - 3 p.m. This is a one of a kind running clinic that will teach you how to improve your technique so you run better, run faster and stay injury-free. Technique work is one of the most neglected areas in many runners training schedules. To run faster, run longer and prevent injury you need to be as efficient a runner as you can be. Good technique is the cornerstone of efficiency.

Space is limited so register today. Go to http://www.corerunning.com/running_clinics_northvan.html and scroll to the bottom of the page to register.

The first Saturday will include video taping your running and teaching you the techniques. The second Saturday we'll video tape you again to see if there have been any changes and you'll get to practice all the drills again.

Each participant will receive a manual as well as access to online videos to practice the drills.

This is the perfect time of year to work on your technique to prepare for a great year of racing in 2011. I can only accommodate 15 runners so register early to secure your spot.

I'll be sending you more useful information on running later this week. I'll be discussing compression socks and whether or not they help your running so watch your inbox.

Run healthy, run strong!
