Capilano Canyon Night Run - 18 February

Join us for the fourth annual Capilano Canyon Night Run and potluck party on Saturday 18 February at 6:30 pm. Register here!
This is a 90 minute run in the dark. Afterwards, runners, crew, friends and a few neighbours get together for a Mardi Gras celebration that starts in the hot tub and finishes with a potluck party that usually lasts a lot
longer than the run!

Traveling Colours Contest - Vote

As promised in the last newsletter, here is your chance to vote for your favorite Traveling Colours Contest photo.

The winner will get a refund on their 2006 Club Membership dues. There are prizes for the runners-up as well.

'Missed the deadline for submitting photos of yourself and your friends in the blue Club colors? Don't worry... if you renewed your membership or are a new member you can expect to have your 2006 Club t-shirt by late February. We'll be running the contest again this year, so start working on your poses!

Robbins Taking An Early Lead

Not sure if this would count as vote influencing, but Gary Robbins' photo of his exuberant KneeKnacker finish last July is taking an early lead in the Traveling Colours Contest Vote.

Some of you might have had difficulties voting yesterday. The problem should be fixed now, please try again. Voting is open to anybody, so do tell your friends!

Three Dolla Bill Run

Come out and join Event Host Ryne Melcher at the Three Dolla Bill Run this Sunday, 22 January.

It's a resolution run and a celebration of life. You can choose from
10.55km, Half Marathon, 20 miles, Marathon or 50km options. One loop is 10.55km long and features 50% paved surface and 50% gravel paths through Waterloo Park, the University of Waterloo and a few quiet city roads.

You can make good time on this course as it has virtually no hills.
